Throwing in the towel

This is madness. The markets are too efficient and random to make a go of this any longer. I am tired of feeding my broker and not myself. Therefore I am done. Back to engineering it is for me.

I wish you all the best.

  1. Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately I have no words of wisdom but it's a shame to see someone throw in the towel. One thing I would say though is that you only traded 3 days this past month. Would you not trade a further full month before making this final decision? Wish you all the best in the future.

  2. Based on the day this has been posted I seriously doubt its validity.

  5. I see what you did. ;-) After having tasted the sweet nectar of trading freedom, one would never return to the realms of office purgatory to willingly. =)

  7. too bad to hear that MBA, but I think the problem lies on your methods. You took few points which in my opinion is too random for market. Have you ever tried swing trader? Need more guts and mentally prepared. But what I did with swing trade so far have been successful.

Notes: If you trade for small points why not leave it to automated trading, took so many effort to trade it manually.

  10. Oh, I see - you are now resorting to cheap tricks to increase traffic. Don't blame you, seeing as Solfest is posting off center stuff about shifty old men, 400yr old English, multicolored bars and what not....

I am going to re-start my blog then, plenty of videos about laughing babies, talking dogs and kittens out there. And hopefully nothing about trading ;)

  11. Sorry to those not familiar with April Fool's Day...
But you should know you can't believe everything on the Internet! :)

Sandy, I look forward to the babies, dogs and kitties. Those will balance out Solfest's moos and political rants.

  12. HaHa. You're not fooling anybody MBA. Like the rest of us you've been infected with the trading virus rendering no possibility of you ever returning to a normal life again. So suck it up buddy and flip to the next chart!
