Mon. 9/19

2:05pm CDT - Enough of a break. I'll never come up with the perfect system and need to put some real money on the line to feel out how I will react to parts of my strategy that I have not been able to mechanically define exactly what I should do. Yes, gasp, there are parts of my strategy that rely on some discretion.

  1. I know what you mean, MBA. I was in a mental battle with myself this weekend when reviewing some entries. There is no perfect method that eliminates risk yet allows for big gains. It's just a matter of what the market is willing to give at any certain time...and THAT we will never know in advance. "What should I do?" I guess if I wanted precise answers to my questions I should have gotten an engineering degree:-)

  2. Look at that, a swing hit on the return. :) Hit the ground running, discretion is a good (no, great) tool.
