A daily chronicle of results of one retail futures trader trading my own accounts. I define myself as a day trader and generally swing for at least a few points most of the time. But I do make the occasional scalp for ticks too.
That 3rd trade does not seem to be part of the plan. Be careful with losing
ReplyDeletecontrol like that. It worked this time. The fifth trade seems to be a solid one. Based on the last few days, profit should have been taken on it. Your scalping tactics are working. Your strongest edge is your ability to sit through an entire day and take just a couple of trades, each lasting just a few seconds/minutes. Few can do that. Build on that edge.
Thanks for comment but there's no edge in ability to sit and take just a few quick scalps each day. The edge must lie in the trades themselves. What worked okay last week has not this week. The search continues though!
