9:45am CST - Gold has as much volume as NQ and YM combined yet today was a good lesson how thin it can be.  21 ticks slippage on a stop on a short (Edit) LONG trade!  Many expletives were muttered. Then NQ shoots up at open, fails quickly into new lows, fakes me and other suckers out and marches up to new highs.  Some days you're the bug, some days the windshield.
