A daily chronicle of results of one retail futures trader trading my own accounts. I define myself as a day trader and generally swing for at least a few points most of the time. But I do make the occasional scalp for ticks too.

CL was/is choppy trading today. I've added ZC, ZN, and HE futures to my watchlist to increase my chances of spotting a better trending market.
ReplyDeletejust as i commented, CL sells off big lol
ReplyDeleteCL sucks! Certainly something to be said for trading the "less traded" thinner markets that potentially thousands fewer day trading algos are messing with! HE = mmm, bacon! :)
ReplyDeleteWere you trading the problability of good inventory news or a problability of a good setup? You seemed to have expectations which can be dangerous. You said yourself, self sabatoge, which in my mind translates to trading in hopes and dreams or expectarions. I dont know though, just trying to help. :)
