A daily chronicle of results of one retail futures trader trading my own accounts. I define myself as a day trader and generally swing for at least a few points most of the time. But I do make the occasional scalp for ticks too.

next step throw in big size when you feel really really good, really really sure.
ReplyDeleteWhat?! Finished at 11:30am? Slacker.
ReplyDeleteOk, I was finished at 11:03am, but that's beside the point - everyone else should have to work all day!

The other day you mentioned that the oil crash story reported was interesting. I think it was routine, even predictable. In an age of ADD behaviour, people forget to plan long term, they seldom have perspective and introspection. And think they know risk. That story indicates otherwise. It's not the machines that did it, it's the people who designed them.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, sitting from afar it seems as if your patterns have changed. For the better.
More power to you.
That's alot of "reallys" Cory! I don't think I'll ever really feel that good or sure. ha
