A daily chronicle of results of one retail futures trader trading my own accounts. I define myself as a day trader and generally swing for at least a few points most of the time. But I do make the occasional scalp for ticks too.

"The agony of de..win". Another day in the greens. Lot's of greens is the recipe for a healthy lifestyle I understand. Great job MBA. Patience was key in the YM today too. Unfortunately, after watching the market go nowhere for over an hour I took a 10 minute break, and ... and ... (well you know the punchline). The more I trade the more I understand that success is more about being alert and patient than it is the mechanics. The "how-to" isn't very hard. But you had better have your butt in the chair when the expected setups appear. The market doesn't tolerate laziness. It punishes it.
ReplyDeleteNice work MBA.
ReplyDeleteYM, only one 10-minute break? :) Not holding a good trade was my punishment today.
