A daily chronicle of results of one retail futures trader trading my own accounts. I define myself as a day trader and generally swing for at least a few points most of the time. But I do make the occasional scalp for ticks too.

Welcome back MBA. In your Emerson quote from yesterday I'm wondering if the word "courage" should've been replaced with "belief". I see a different meaning in the words and "belief" just gives me a more empowering, fuzzier feeling. Belief makes me WANT to act because I sense a good outcome. Courage makes me act in SPITE of the sense I feel I may get slapped in return. I don't want to win because I see myself as courageous (in trading I'm not). I want to win because I see myself as smart.
