A daily chronicle of results of one retail futures trader trading my own accounts. I define myself as a day trader and generally swing for at least a few points most of the time. But I do make the occasional scalp for ticks too.

Why the size increase on ZS?
ReplyDeleteBeen wanting to add some trades in the IRA and put some capital there to work.
ReplyDeleteHey MBA,
ReplyDeleteWhen you get a chance could you tell me/us a bit about your IRA account as it relates to futures trading?
I spoke to my broker about it a while back and he gave me paperwork to set up a trust account through Entrust that would then allow me to trade it through my futures broker.
Is yours set up through a trust account?
Thanks,
-AT
My IRA is setup through Millenium Trust. I think I pay a $75/qtr. fee - not sure how that compares to Entrust? Once it is setup, you trade it just like an individual account. Only difference is the name on the acct is "Millenium Trust #xxxx FBO your name".
ReplyDeleteMillenium is the other trust that my broker mentioned. Looks like the Entrust fees are about the same.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info and the link.
