A daily chronicle of results of one retail futures trader trading my own accounts. I define myself as a day trader and generally swing for at least a few points most of the time. But I do make the occasional scalp for ticks too.

3 days! in gaming speak you have ascend to the next level, congrats!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm back to being a genius. Target never hit and trade would have just stopped out for -$300 if I hadn't overrode system with early exit.
ReplyDeleteHi Gearhead, this is zenfxtrader. we exchanged emails a few years ago. I don't blog anymore but still trade FX and visit your site occasionally. I admire your persistence and courage. But I wonder, do you really trade full-time, or do something else too? Based on the equity curves of the last 8 years, one couldn't make a living off it.
ReplyDelete"Full-time" is subjective of course but I don't have another job if that's what you mean. I have no debt and some rental income that gets me by and "trading for a living" is the eventual goal.
DeleteGood on you!
ReplyDeleteI still have another job and the goal of living off trading exclusively is still a dream, although it seems closer now. Blogging is a lot of work so I've stopped, but the habit of writing a trading diary still survives. I've changed my trading method to day-trading in a short time window. Looks promising.
