A daily chronicle of results of one retail futures trader trading my own accounts. I define myself as a day trader and generally swing for at least a few points most of the time. But I do make the occasional scalp for ticks too.

Hey good trading! I notice when you are selling, you sell before the pullback. Have you considered the pullback instead? I play this from the perspective - what is the best price to sell here. If I sell the lows and it pulls back I am immediately sweating bullets. If I can just sell the pullback failure, I get very quickly into a positive trade.

Thanks for the thoughts/ideas. I operate the same on the long side as the short side and have specific signals for entry. Sometimes I'm wrong pretty instantly like today's (12/29) first trade!
