A daily chronicle of results of one retail futures trader trading my own accounts. I define myself as a day trader and generally swing for at least a few points most of the time. But I do make the occasional scalp for ticks too.
1 losing trade all week is great. Seems like you are being more selective, and sitting on your hands a lot. That is one the hardest things to do, but one of the most lucrative.
ReplyDeleteI hope next week is just as good!
Ditto to what Kevin said. Being more selective can be hard too though because we just don't know which ones will ultimately work out. We have our best educated guesses....but no seeing into the future. Every setup is different even if it looks the same because they all involve different players with different motivations. Good job this week MBA.
ReplyDeleteI echo all of the above; I have spent a lot of time studying the trading conditions that offer my best chance for success. Every other "possible" trade bores me.
ReplyDelete@ YM, do you comment over on elite trader? I have not met many other YM traders.
All those setups look very familiar to me... and I can assure you of this: keep doing what you're doing, don't fall to the temptation of fading = martingale suicide siren songs and the mode you are in right now will print money over time :)
ReplyDeleteThanks all. Slow and steady...
