A daily chronicle of results of one retail futures trader trading my own accounts. I define myself as a day trader and generally swing for at least a few points most of the time. But I do make the occasional scalp for ticks too.

ReplyDeleteGood luck :)
ReplyDeleteI saw ZS today...and I really wonder if you have a winning day.
It's all part of the game. Yesterday I missed a sizable gain in heating oil by about $200 (that was how much price carried by my stop loss before moving back in the original direction). Worse, I felt like I could see it happening, but we both know we're always smarter than our systems right? Not. It's all about repetition at the end of the day. Sometimes I hate when the weekends come, because I know at the EOD over a 1000 trades or so, I've got a positive expectancy.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys. It's hard to read-between-the-lines sometimes but when I sound down, most of time I'm just being cynical and/or sarcastic! :)
