A daily chronicle of results of one retail futures trader trading my own accounts. I define myself as a day trader and generally swing for at least a few points most of the time. But I do make the occasional scalp for ticks too.

1:55pm CDT - Missed a +10 tick trade just before CL inventory report. The early day straight line action was exactly what my strategy doesn't like.
I had a green day today, but I came over here to check to see if you had any comments, but it seems like yours was a morning issue. I was doing real well into the afternoon, but the last 15 minutes robbed me of 30% of my hard-earned profit.
I could not escape the big boys thrashing my symbol around and the bot started losing edge.
However, I also wanted to comment that I really like your performance this week. It looks a lot more disciplined than usual. I hope that's not some statistical fluke and that you've got a manageable, clean edge now.

Thanks TC. Too soon to tell re: your last sentence. I have been relentlessly disciplined however with taking my signals.
