2:40pm CDT - And just like that, I'm back to even on what was a good month. Lost confidence in system today for sure and will do more homework. Moving stops to BE was not beneficial today for sure.
MBA, how familiar are you with option trading? Option trading allows you to limit your risk without having to use a discretionary stop, and the bang for the buck can go a long way. For example, $1000 "invested" into a option can easily return 50-200% without having to watch the position like a hawk.
ReplyDeleteAs you know, discretionary day-trading can lead to a lot of over trading and 2nd guessing stop placement and profit targets. Not to mention parting ways with a large % of vital trading capital.

Was a bit familiar back in the day when I passed my Series 7. Not so much lately. Perhaps I should add to my homework pile! Hope your 2020 is the best too!
